DW Tennis Terms & Conditions

​Please read these Terms & Conditions ("Agreement", "Terms") carefully before booking or attending any lessons with DW Tennis ("we", "us", or "our"). This Agreement sets out the legally binding terms and conditions for your use of our services, including all tennis lessons, packages, coaching sessions, and related activities ("Lessons").

By submitting a booking enquiry, purchasing a package, or attending a Lesson, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not proceed with booking or participating in any Lessons.

1. Bookings

1.1 All bookings are made through our booking enquiry form, WhatsApp, or other official DW Tennis channels.

1.2 A Lesson is only confirmed once full payment has been received.

1.3 You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information when submitting a booking enquiry.

1.4 You are responsible for ensuring that the contact details (name, WhatsApp number, email) provided are correct so that we can confirm your booking and send Lesson-related communications.

2. Lesson Packages & Pricing

2.1 DW Tennis offers the following package options:

• Ad Hoc / Single Session — pay-as-you-go

• 5-Session Package

• 10-Session Package

Packages are available across our class types: Private (1-to-1), Pair (2-to-1), and Group (3 or more).

2.2 Package validity:

• 5-Session Package: valid for 6 months from date of purchase

• 10-Session Package: valid for 12 months from date of purchase

• Ad Hoc sessions: must be used within 30 days of purchase

2.3 Package credits are deducted at the time of booking confirmation. Unused credits at the end of the validity period will expire and are non-refundable.

2.4 Packages are tied to a specific class type. For example, a Private 10-Session Package cannot be used for Pair or Group lessons, and vice versa.

2.5 Packages are non-transferable between clients unless expressly approved in writing by DW Tennis.

2.6 Price changes: DW Tennis reserves the right to revise Lesson rates and package prices at any time. Any price changes will apply only to new bookings and packages purchased after the change. Existing active packages will be honoured at the original rate until their validity expires.

3. Court Fees

3.1 All Lesson rates and packages exclude court booking fees.

3.2 Where the Client provides the court (e.g., private condo facilities), no additional court fee is payable to DW Tennis.

3.3 Where DW Tennis or the Coach books a court on the Client's behalf, the court rental fee is borne by the Client and will be communicated and collected prior to the Lesson.

3.4 Where a Coach uses a court they personally have access to and no additional booking fee applies, no court fee will be charged.

4. Payment

4.1 All Lessons and packages must be paid for in advance via the payment methods provided by DW Tennis, including PayNow, credit/debit card, or other approved methods.

4.2 Payments are processed through a third-party payment provider. By making payment, you also agree to the terms and privacy policy of the relevant payment provider.

4.3 DW Tennis will issue a payment confirmation upon successful receipt of payment.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

5.1 24-hour notice rule: Cancellations and rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled Lesson start time to retain the Lesson credit.

5.2 Cancellations or rescheduling requests made within 24 hours of the scheduled Lesson start time will result in the Lesson credit being forfeited and no refund or re-credit will be issued.

5.3 Valid reason exception: In cases of genuine emergency (medical, family emergency, or other circumstances at DW Tennis's discretion), late cancellations may be accepted without penalty. Supporting evidence (e.g., medical certificate) may be required.

5.4 No-shows: If a Client fails to attend a confirmed Lesson without prior notice, the Lesson credit is forfeited in full and no refund will be issued.

5.5 Coach unavailability: If a Coach is unable to conduct a confirmed Lesson due to illness or unforeseen circumstances:

• DW Tennis will, where possible, arrange for a substitute Coach. If a substitute Coach conducts the Lesson, the Lesson credit will be deducted as normal.

• If no Lesson takes place, no Lesson credit will be deducted, and the Client may reschedule at no cost.

6. Rain & Weather Policy

6.1 In the event of adverse weather conditions that affect a Lesson, the Coach will assess on the day whether the Lesson can proceed safely, in consultation with the Client.

6.2 If the Lesson is cancelled due to rain or unsafe weather, the Client may reschedule the Lesson at no additional cost and without forfeiting the Lesson credit.

6.3 If a Lesson is proceeding and weather conditions deteriorate mid-Lesson, the Coach may, at their discretion, end the Lesson early in the interest of safety. In such cases, the Lesson credit will be deducted in full.

7. Package Pause / Freeze

7.1 Requests to pause or freeze package validity (e.g., due to extended injury, illness, pregnancy, or extended travel) will be considered on a case-by-case basis at DW Tennis's sole discretion.

7.2 Pause requests must be submitted in writing (email or WhatsApp) with the reason and expected duration of the pause. Supporting evidence may be requested.

7.3 Approved pauses do not constitute a refund. Validity will be extended only for the approved pause duration.

8. Lesson Attendance & Conduct

8.1 Clients must arrive on time for all Lessons. Lesson timeslots are fixed.

8.2 Late arrival: If a Client arrives late, the Lesson will still end at the originally scheduled time. Coaches are not obligated to extend the Lesson duration, as this may impact subsequent bookings. Any additional time provided is at the Coach's sole discretion.

8.3 Group Lessons: Group Lessons will proceed at the scheduled time regardless of partial attendance, provided at least one Client is present. Absent Clients forfeit their Lesson credit as per the cancellation policy.

8.4 Lessons must be conducted respectfully and safely, in accordance with Coach instructions and the rules of the relevant tennis facility.

8.5 DW Tennis reserves the right to refuse participation or request that a Client leave a Lesson if the Client:

• Acts unsafely or causes harm to themselves or others

• Fails to follow Coach instructions

• Behaves disruptively, abusively, or inappropriately (including harassment)

• Is under the influence of alcohol or illicit substances during the Lesson

8.6 In such cases, no refund or re-credit will be issued.

9. Minors (Clients Under 18)

9.1 Clients aged 17 and under may participate in Lessons only with the consent and oversight of a parent or legal guardian.

9.2 The parent or legal guardian must be the booking account holder, will be the primary contact for all communications, and is responsible for all payments and adherence to these Terms.

9.3 DW Tennis reserves the right to require the presence of a parent or guardian at Lessons for Clients under a certain age.

10. Image, Video & Marketing Consent

10.1 By booking and attending Lessons with DW Tennis, you consent to DW Tennis and its Coaches taking photographs and video recordings during Lessons.

10.2 You grant DW Tennis a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use such photographs and videos for marketing purposes, including but not limited to social media (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube), our website, advertising, and promotional materials.

10.3 No additional compensation is payable for such use.

10.4 If you do not wish for your image to be used for marketing, you must notify DW Tennis in writing (email or WhatsApp) prior to the Lesson. Such requests will be respected on a best-efforts basis.

10.5 For Clients under 18, marketing consent will only be obtained with the express written consent of the parent or legal guardian.

11. Referrals, Promotions & Credits

11.1 DW Tennis may offer promotional credits, discounts, or referral rewards from time to time ("Promotions").

11.2 Promotions are subject to specific terms communicated at the time of offer, including (where applicable) validity periods, redemption conditions, and maximum stacking limits.

11.3 Promotional credits are non-transferable, non-refundable, and have no cash value.

11.4 DW Tennis reserves the right to amend or withdraw any Promotion at any time without prior notice.

12. Refunds

12.1 All payments made for Lessons and packages are strictly non-refundable, except where required by law or expressly stated in these Terms.

12.2 This includes single sessions, multi-session packages, expired credits, and forfeited credits resulting from late cancellations or no-shows.

13. Liability, Waiver & Assumption of Risk

13.1 Participation in tennis Lessons carries inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, illness, or property damage.

13.2 By booking and attending a Lesson, you confirm that:

• You are physically fit and capable of participating in tennis

• You have informed DW Tennis of any medical conditions, injuries, illnesses, or impairments that may affect your safe participation

• You have consulted a qualified medical professional, where appropriate, regarding your fitness to participate

• You voluntarily assume all risks, whether known or unknown, arising from your participation

13.3 You agree that DW Tennis, its Coaches, employees, contractors, and representatives (collectively, "Associates") shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, or death arising from your participation in Lessons, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

13.4 You accept full responsibility for any personal property brought to Lessons. DW Tennis is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.

13.5 You agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless DW Tennis and its Associates from all claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to your participation in Lessons, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

13.6 In the event of an injury or emergency during a Lesson, DW Tennis personnel may exercise reasonable judgement regarding the appropriate course of action, including contacting emergency services.

13.7 You acknowledge that it is your responsibility to obtain personal health, accident, or travel insurance if you wish to be covered for any incidents arising from participation in Lessons.

14. Personal Data Protection

14.1 DW Tennis collects, uses, and retains personal data in accordance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

14.2 By using our services, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal data for purposes related to Lesson booking, administration, communication, marketing (where consent is given), and service delivery.

14.3 Further details on how we handle your personal data are set out in our Privacy Policy.

15. Intellectual Property

15.1 All content on the DW Tennis website, booking platforms, social media, and related materials — including text, graphics, images, videos, logos, designs, and software ("Content") — is owned by or licensed to DW Tennis.

15.2 The Content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, or used for any purpose without the prior written consent of DW Tennis.

15.3 All trademarks, logos, and service marks associated with DW Tennis remain the property of DW Tennis.

16. Changes to These Terms

16.1 DW Tennis reserves the right to modify, update, or amend these Terms at any time at our sole discretion.

16.2 Any changes will be posted on our website and will take effect from the date of posting.

16.3 Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage Clients to review this Agreement periodically.

17. Miscellaneous

17.1 These Terms constitute the entire agreement between DW Tennis and the Client.

17.2 No variation of these Terms shall be effective unless made in writing by DW Tennis.

17.3 If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

17.4 Headings are for convenience only and do not affect the interpretation of these Terms.

17.5 Failure by DW Tennis to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.

18. Governing Law

18.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore.

18.2 Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
